Berbeda dengan Future Perfect Tense yang menyatakan suatu aktivitas yang akan sudah akibat di masa depan, Future Perfect Continous Tense dipakai untuk menyatakan aktivitas yang akan belum akibat di masa hadir dikala aktivitas yang lain akan terjadi. Untuk lebih jelasnya, yuk kita perhatikan terlebih lampau rujukan ilustrasi di bawah ini.

I will go to bed at 10.00. Putra will get home at 12.00. At 12.00 I will be sleeping. I will have been sleeping for 2 hours by the time Putra gets home.

A. Pola Kalimat Future Perfect Continuous Tense

C. Penggunaan Future Perfect Continuous Tense

Di awal penjelasan, penulis sudah menunjukan penerapan dari Future Perfect Continuous Tense. Secara garis besar, tenses ini dipakai untuk menyatakan suatu pekerjaan yang sudah dimulai pada masa lampau dan masih akan sedang berlangsung pada waktu tertentu di waktu yang akan hadir. Biasanya pada kalimat yang memakai Future Perfect Continous Tense, terdapat keterangan jangka waktu yang di lampaui oleh kata "for", misalkan: for two hours, for 3 months.

Penambahan keterangan jangka waktu tersebut ditujukan untuk menyatakan bawah insiden tersebut masih berlangsung atau belum akibat dan mungkin akan berlanjut. Seperti terlihat pada rujukan di bawah ini:

I will have been living in Jakarta for three months by the end of September.
I will have been working for 3 hours by the end of twelve.

D. Keterangan Waktu Future Perfect Continuous Tense
